Tavern “ae
botti”:
The sailors at sight and at smell that follows taverns
and pubs. Know that in Veneto there is a lot to
choose from: there are matchless vegetable, there
is wild meat, cort yard animals, the best races
of beef , much seafood and there is the antique
traditional cuisine that has never miss the gastronomic
appointment , but that nowadays lives a season of
consents for the ever growing lovers that look for
it, smelling recipes and way of cooking. One of
the mandatory stops in this lovable wander is this
tavern, one of the oldest of Venice, situated in
the island of Giudecca.

From it’s terrace,
a broad long coast facing the canal of giudecca , you admire
the church of Gesuatti. The antique “bacaro”
is family manage by Fabio, Valentina and Anna has an inside
capability of 50 seats and 35 seats on the summer terrace;
just when you enter you find the frontal bench with the
”cicchetti” typical of Venice, on the inside
the wooden tables talk about the many people that thy give
hospitality to, the antique beams on the ceiling and the
old photos on the walls, have the fascination of time. They
keep the secrets of history ; stories of sailors and adventures
by sea and by land.

Listening to the daily
annals of the people of the sestier. It’s a
place to encounter and to meet friends for a “ombra”
and a “cicheto”, to stay with each other.
The environment is conditioned and on the end of the
hall there is a big tv screen ...to enjoy the soccer
game. Intimate the “ae botti” remain a
tavern, bastion of the traditional dishes, with the
merit of having valorized some recipes of the territory
, making you live new emotions. The simple cooking
voice it’s self with typical venetian dishes
like for example spaghetti with cutlefish, tagliolini
crab and shrimp, tagliolini with "peochi"
risi and “bisi”, risi and "cavroman",
risotto "de secole" ; among the second dishes
we advise seppie in tecia with polenta, grilled cuttlefish
with polenta, "sarde in saor", baccalà
fritto, polpettine della nonna.

seafood , or personalized menus for degree parties, birthday
with music ex .
For lunch the tavern “Ae Botti” proposes tourist
menus on fixed price or daily menu and a la carte , on
the evening the young atmosphere make it possible to dine
with menu a la carte or with ”stuzzicheria”
or hot o sandwiches, music and a lot of fun.
